Back in San Francisco this week. Today it started to POUR hardcore (ha! that rhymed!). Alex and I decided to work at Lealand Tea Company on Bush Street. One of my favorite places to go in San Francisco that is still opened. My favorite pho restaurant, Pot de Pho, and one of my favorite cafes, Bitter Sweet Chocolate Cafe have both closed. Sniffles. I hope Lealand never suffers the same fate.

Reasons why I love Lealand Tea Company:

  • Warm and cozy
  • Pleasant music
  • Big yummy tea pots
  • Great service
  • Yummy mini cupcakes
  • Fast internet (the wifi password is cupcakes which is awfully cute)
  • Great decor and style

Only annoying thing happening right now are the two people having a date at the table next to us.  Theys talks so louds.  One guy is obviously dominating the conversation by talking about himself the whole time.  His stories are pretty crazy!  Everything from… having a really psycho mother who made him take too many anti depressants to getting hit by a car which led him to age much slower… to getting molested, and somewhere in there he also said that he felt like an unleashed tiger.  Alright, is it annoying or is it entertaining?  On the brighter side, it’s pretty entertaining.

Today is my 5 year anniversary with www.missmai.com. I use to be a pretty avid blogger with www.missmai.com but every time I have some sort of turning point in my life I feel compelled to wipe everything out and start with new entries. It’s been a while since I’ve written anything and it feels like an appropriate time to start documenting things. Important things, not so important things, funny things, heart breaking things, lovely things, every things.

Whatever it is, I hope you enjoy.

Sincerely,
M.Hoang
